André Kirbach, born in 1968 in the Lower Rhine area of Germany. First attempts at painting and drawing at the age of ten – at sixteen the youngest member of the artists’ association Moerser Palette. Participation in regional exhibitions – dream job is art or antiques dealer. Degree in object design from FH Niederrhein (University of Applied Sciences) with Prof. Vogel, Kirchberger and Dohr – freelance work at Grey advertising agency, amongst others. Discovered tribal art and its influence on 20th century art at the age of twenty three. Six years of work at a Duesseldorf art gallery – first ideas on the dialogue of art from different cultures. From 2000 independent art dealer, since then realisation of numerous projects and exhibitions. Came to Zen at the age of thirty five, since then intensive dealings with Japanese art and culture. Member of KD (association of the German Fine Art dealers) and BVDG. Prominent exhibitor at the Cologne Fine Art Fair, since 2015 in the advisory board of the COFA. Since 2017 leader of the Kunstverein Aurich in East Frisia.
